Spira-what?

Get ready for this: spirulina is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet.  It’s a great addition to smoothies because it packs in a lot in a small amount.  Always be sure to get your spirulina from reputable sources. I’ve provided an excellent (affiliate) link below for one I’ve used for over two years on my healing journey

Drink Up

It’s essential to drink smoothies like you would eat a meal.  You shouldn’t let it sit long, as that will oxidize the fruits and veggies, making them less beneficial.

Where’s the Protein Powder?

Fruits and veggies contain fat and protein!  I opt to give my gut and liver a break in the morning and not give them more to do by breaking down protein, fat, and any harmful ingredients found in many protein powders.  It’s time for straight-up whole foods.

Go Wild

Putting it simply, I choose wild blueberries over conventional ones for my smoothies because they contain more fiber and antioxidants.
